Terms of Service
By using RunTogether you agree to these terms. They keep the community safe and the app usable for everyone.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use RunTogether.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Use real information so other runners can find you.
3. Community guidelines
Don't use RunTogether to harass, threaten, or endanger others. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Post hateful, sexual, violent, or otherwise objectionable content
- Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your run details
- Spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service
- Use RunTogether for commercial promotion without our written permission
We use in-app reporting and blocking, and we may remove content or accounts that violate these rules. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
4. Running is at your own risk
RunTogether helps you discover other runners — it does not vet them. Always meet in public places, run within your ability, and follow local traffic rules. You participate in any run at your own risk. RunTogether is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from runs organized through the app.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the runs, messages, photos, and ratings you post. You grant RunTogether a non-exclusive license to display that content to other users so the app can work.
6. Termination
You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the community.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept them.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, RunTogether is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
